Spa Etiquette

  • Arrive on time for your appointment. Most spas require that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled treatment to allow time for check-in and to prepare for your service.

  • Be sure to communicate any concerns or preferences you have with the spa staff. This could include any allergies or sensitivities you have, areas of your body that you would like the therapist to focus on or avoid, or any special requests you may have.

  • Follow the spa’s rules and policies. This may include things like turning off your cell phone or not using electronic devices in the treatment areas.

  • Be considerate of other guests. Try to keep noise to a minimum and avoid disturbing other guests who are enjoying their treatments.

  • Follow the instructions of the spa staff. This includes things like showering before your treatment and using the products provided by the spa.

  • Be respectful of the therapist’s personal space and boundaries. Avoid touching the therapist without permission, and do not make inappropriate comments or advances.

  • Be prepared to pay for any additional services or products that you may request or purchase during your visit.
